Cocker Spaniel - Butters 8yr - Medium - Senior - Male - Dog
Butters is currently being fostered in Akron Ohio and his adoption fee is only $75 for a senior to senior adoption. Butters is a sweet 8-9 yr old male, buff cocker spaniel.
He came into our rescue from a high kill shelter in southern Ohio.
He was found in deplorable condition wandering alone in a very rural area.
His hair and nails were so overgrown, that it was difficult to tell what gender he was. Because of his condition, he was taken to the shelter to be euthanized.
A volunteer there asked that he be given more time, and if she could take him under her wing and find him some help.
Butters is very very sweet, his foster thinks he is wonderful, and says that he is a lover boy!!
He is house trained and gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home.
He does have some medical issues such as arthritis in his back legs, and glaucoma in one eye that requires daily drops. Overall, he is a healthy senior boy, and he would just love it if he can find a living forever home to retire in.
Will anyone give him that for his remaining golden years?
